A rare semi-hard goat milk cheese that is matured for at least 4 years to develop complex characteristics, flaky texture and a savoury, sweet and nutty finish.
We are the only cheese shop in Victoria that stocks this aged goat cheese from South Australia.
About Barossa Cheese Co. (SA)
The Barossa Valley Cheese Company is the success of the hard-working Victoria McClurg, who is also a qualified wine maker. After a stint making wine in Bordeaux, France, Victoria found a passion for cheese, the joy in sharing cheese with friends and pairing cheese with wine.
When she returned from France to the Barossa Valley, she began making cheese at home in the kitchen with her mum, Frances McClurg.
In March 2003, Victoria and Frances opened The Cheesecellar in the main street of Angaston, in South Australia's premium food and wine destination, the Barossa Valley, just an hour from Adelaide.
Victoria is also an active and highly regarded part of the food industry and Barossa community, serving on the board of Food SA and also joining the Barons of Barossa in 2018.

You are able to pick-up your order during our operating days and hours ONLY at RIPE, Shop 41/42, Dairy Hall, Queen Victoria Market:
- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7am-2pm
- Saturday: 7am-2pm
- Sunday: 9am-2pm
We do not provide this service on Monday & Wednesday.
After we have received your order and payment, we will contact you if we need to modify the delivery day/time period.
Orders received will be expedited the next business day. We only deliver Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 3pm.
Our delivery person will place your order at your door, move at least 1.5m away and contact you. In the event that you are unable to receive your order, he will attempt to place it somewhere safe and inform you of said location. However, if there is not a safe place and you are liable to pay another delivery fee to get your order.
It's $15 delivery fee up to 10km or $25 between 11-20km. We dont deliver beyond 20km. Dont forget that our minimum delivery amount is $99 so you will need to order something else from our store to accompany this if you want delivery.
